It has been very different for me because of no school for a long period of time and not having any sleepovers or going to my grandparents house it is also different that we can't go anywhere as a child so we have to stay at home, and when we go for walks we can't stop in at the school or anything like we normally do. ;-;
The hardest thing is getting sick of things very easily. We purchased lego beforehand so we would have something to do but i got over that in the first week, also netflix and youtube are getting boring so it's getting too repetitive. .-.
The pleasant surprise was that i can actually walk 8 kms without getting tired and another one was that i can double bounce my brother reallyyy high, the last one is that i can sleep in until 2pm. 0.0
I would say my ps4 and ipad have helped because my ipad has a really long lasting battery and it has heaps of apps and on my ps4 i have the sims4 which i can play for hours. (:
The best book was a 13 story treehouse. I recently read a 26 story treehouse so it was great reading the first one. I love how the author and the writer made a book about themselves and these crazy stories :D
The best movie i have watched was Invisible man. :}
I've done two lots of baking and I'm trying to learn how to longboard, and I have followed a drawing tutorial on how to draw people. \:

I read this on Hapara and thought it showed that you have fabulous writing skills, Porsha. You have told us about this very unusual experience (lockdown) in an interesting way. This will be a great piece of writing to keep so you can recall how strange it was to be confined to a "bubble" for at least 28 days!! You are going very well with learning@home.
ReplyDeleteLittle prompt: titles on books and movies begin with capital letters, "The 13 Storey Treehouse."
Hi Porsha, it’s always great to hear the perspective from different people and how they cope and spend their time in lockdown. It is a tricky time at the moment and its great that you’ve found different things to do.
ReplyDeleteI bet Maddox thought it was hilarious that you could double bounce him so high!
I also saw the Invisible Man, and it is the best film I’ve seen in ages!
